In our Cusco projects we focus on studies, internships, and support in finding a job for the ophans.

Naby times we notice that the orphan feels lost after his time in the orphanage, when at 18 years of age he has to learn how to be independant.

Here we had a lot of work to do, and that is how our ideas started!

Inmenszo focuses on the following projects:

September 2006 research of appropriate studies.

Since the beginning of 2007 we are helping a group of 25 youngsters in their studies and internships. Most populat stuedies are tourism, chef de cuisine, english, waiter, barman and housekeeper.

Monthly we organise reunions to evaluate the youngsters.

January 2007 we examined the idea of starting our own lunchroom, which would not only create jobs but also internships.

The youngsters turned out not to be capable enough just yet, so we decided to let them complete their studies first.

Arrond december 2007 we will further develop this plan. We'll keep you informed.

March 2007 a group of youngsters started making Andina handicraft work (on an ecological base).

At this moment we want to invest in constructing an area where we can work more professionaly. This would also permit the  youngsters to work and produce on a more comfortable and labour-responsible way.

Due to this project we were able to create a job for an ex 'orphanage-inhabitant' because he's showing the youngsters how to produce these Andina handicrafts.

Through the organsition Spelenderwijs we made contact with a project of afterschool caretaking, where about 60 to 80 children can come and make their homework each day.

March 2007 we put 2 computers there and an internet connection. The children use the computers for information and learn how to use one.

We also contributed to the library with cupboards, reading- and educational books, and educating games.
