A Cook named Raffaele Esposito, was assigned to prepair a pizza for his queen Margarita, Without knowing that his experiment would become the most famous Pizza.
Esposito, desided to honor the colours of the italian vlag: White(Mozzarella), Red (Tomatoes), en Green ( Basil). This pizza became so populair, that still its name is known.
